Owners and lessees of specific Toyota models, including the 2011-2019 Toyota Corolla, 2011-2013 Toyota Corolla Matrix, 2012-2018 Toyota Avalon, 2013-2018 Toyota Avalon HV, 2012-2019 Toyota Tacoma, 2012-2017 Toyota Tundra, and 2012-2017 Toyota Sequoia, stand to benefit from this settlement. The settlement doesn't imply any admission of guilt by Toyota, but rather serves as a resolution to a class action lawsuit related to the air bag defects. The alleged malfunctioning of these components, particularly during collisions, could result in the failure of air bag deployment.
Under the terms of the settlement, eligible class members have the opportunity to receive reimbursement for expenses incurred due to vehicle recalls associated with the air bag issues.
